Concentration in Music Business

For those interested in pursuing a career in the music business, Northwest Christian University offers a Bachelor of Arts in Music with a concentration in Music Business.  Through the Music Business concentration, you will not only learn the management and artistry necessary for a career in music business, you will do so in classes where a Christian and liberal arts foundation will ensure that your knowledge is broad, that your work is ethical, and that your faith is deepened.



The concentration in Music Business will not only give you a well-rounded education in music, but you will also receive an excellent business education as well to help ignite your career.  Along with performance, song writing and recording skills, you will focus on marketing, booking, and managing a live act. 

As a student in the Music Business concentration, in addition to the music major core curriculum, you will complete 16 credits in the Music Business concentration.  Your program will also include an internship in the music business to develop real world skills and contacts.

Campus Activities

Campus bands and individual performers are active in the Eugene-Springfield community.  Many Music majors play during Chapel and assist in running sound for activities through our Media Resources department.
