Troy Dean, M.A.

Born raised and stranded behind the "Orange Curtain" of Southern California, Pastor Troy escaped with a B.S in Business from Cal Poly Pomona. He went on to complete a M.A. in Ministry, with an emphasis in Church leadership. Pastor Troy helped to lead two church plants, one in So. Cal. And another in Nor. Cal.

University Praise, a church plant in Fullerton, CA, was a church with an average age of 26. While at Cal Poly , he played on the Men's Soccer team, was president of his fraternity and president of Greek Council (governing body for all fraternities and sororities), as well as a leader with Campus Crusade for Christ.

Pastor Troy's interests include sports (anything from soccer to volleyball to racquetball to Fantasy Football). He is a major Apple geek and can be seen with his iPad constantly. He enjoys reading, blogging, tweeting, time in solitude journaling, and 80's movie trivia. His favorite people are his wife of 17+years, Dawn, and his three boys, tanner, Dakota, and Chase.

Favorite NCU Memory: Numerous baptisms of students in the Williamette River near NCU. The amazing students / faculty / staff servants who worked tirelessly to serve the people/children and end sex trafficking in Cambodia (May 2011)
