Anne Maggs is an associate professor for the School of Business
and Management and has been at Northwest Christian University since
2001 when she graduated with the first MBA class at NCU. She
holds a Bachelor of Science degree in rhetoric and communication
from the University of Oregon, which she received in 1982.
She has more than 14 years of experience in medical clinic
management and has worked as a consultant specializing in system
analysis. She has managed family practice and specialty
medical clinics; acted as liaison for physicians, clinic attorneys,
and accountants; facilitated strategic planning, developed and
implemented operational goals, budgets, and protocols to prevent
embezzlement.
In May 2007, she received the President's Award for Teaching
Excellence and Campus Leadership at Northwest Christian
University.
Anne's personal mission statement is "Striving toward a long
life of learning as an educator of inquiring minds, I seek God's
guidance."
