Scott is originally from the San Francisco Bay area where he lived until moving to Tacoma, Washington where he received a B.A. in history from the University of Puget Sound.  Scott met his wife Carrie while in college and in 2004 moved to Eugene where he began working in the Financial Aid Office at NCU.

Scott received his Master of Arts in Ministry Leadership degree in 2010 from George Fox Evangelical Seminary and he and his family are currently working with the Foursquare denomination on planting a church.

Scott enjoys literature, theology, movies, theatre, spending time with my wife and children, and many sports (baseball, hockey, soccer, football).
