Liz Turner-Bolton has been with the NCU women's basketball
program since it's genesis in 2004. After being named Head Coach on
an interim basis during the second half of the 2007-2008 season,
Bolton assumed full-time duties for 2008-2009.
Bolton had been an assistant coach for Beacon women's basketball
during the program's first four years, helping guide NCC to
back-to-back appearances and fourth-place finishes in the USCAA
National Championship Tournament. She also guided the Beacons to a
sixth place finish during their first ever season in the Cascade
Collegiate Conference.
Turner-Bolton had previously been the assistant coach at Lane
Community College for five years. She has been coaching at a
multitude of levels over the past 18 years. She was the Head Girls
Basketball coach for one season at Mohawk HS and was on the coach
staff for two years at Cottage Grove HS and three years at Junction
City HS.
Turner-Bolton also spent two seasons coaching professional
basketball in Australia, leading the Wagga Wolves women's team to a
Grand Championship as a player/coach. She coached in the men's
state league in Australia for one season.
Turner-Bolton played collegiately at Lane Community College, before
transfering to the University of Oregon, where she played for one
season.
Turner-Bolton is the career and college coordinator at Junction
City HS. She is married to Chris Bolton. They have two children,
Hannah and Seth.
