Demonstrations or Protests
Approved demonstrations or protests will be announced via campus
email with a specific location and time. If an event is not
approved or scheduled, follow the following steps:
Action Steps
- Call Campus Security at 541-517-5197 and the Dean of Students
at 541-729-9655.
- Provide a description of the person(s) causing the
disturbance.
- Gather key details of what happened
- Location (building, entrance, floor, room, etc.)
- Approximate number of leaders
- Size of group
- Obvious objective or demand of group
- Group is: rational? Organized? Violent? etc.
- If there is an imminent threat to people, Call 9-9-1-1.
- Do not approach the group; get to a safe place if
necessary.
