Presidential Awards
Teaching Excellence and Campus Leadership
Northwest Christian University is, first and foremost, a
teaching institution. But we are also an institution that takes
pride in developing ethical leaders for a changing world. The
President's Award for Teaching Excellence and Campus Leadership was
instituted in 2006 as a way to honor not only an excellent teacher,
but also a teacher who models the kind of leadership we strive to
teach our students.
The selection committee, comprised of students, faculty and
staff, reviews nominations from the entire campus community and
chooses the faculty member it feels demonstrates, through actions
and outcomes, teaching excellence and campus leadership.
