At Northwest Christian University you'll study biology in a Christ-centered environment that champions wisdom, faith and service.
Whether you’re interested in medicine and health occupations, agriculture, ecology, research, physical therapy, or veterinary medicine, the biology program at NCU can help you reach your goals. You'll work closely with instructors and advisors to choose the courses, research projects and internship opportunities that provide you with the best preparation and most competitive edge.
We encourage you to meet with an academic advisor or instructor by the end of your sophomore year to talk about your post-graduate plans. Your advisor will help you discover the pathway to reaching your career goals and fulfilling your calling.
Inquiry-based learning and collaborative student research is built into the core of the biology program and you can choose between an internship and extensive research with a research advisor. You'll also have the opportunity to choose between two tracks and more than a dozen elective courses to fit your career goals.
