Your Gift Makes A Difference!

The NCU Calling Campaign occurs for approximately eight weeks twice per year; fall and spring. Student callers contact alumni, individuals, and parents for donations to the university.

Why are you calling me?
The objective of NCU's calling program is to contact all of our alumni so that the University can touch base with you annually. We want to share campus news with you, information on the needs of the university and how your gift to NCU can help.

Why can't you just send something in the mail?
Northwest Christian does try to contact alumni, parents, and friends through the mail. However, we also make contacts through our calling program because the majority of alumni enjoy having the chance to make a personal connection.

Why do you ask for money?
A student's tuition covers only 50% of NCU's cost to educate. Gifts from our alumni, parents, and friends are necessary to make up the difference. Every gift to Northwest Christian University, no matter the size, makes a big difference in developing ethical leaders for a changing world. Your gifts support student scholarships, faculty and academic resources, chapel services, student activities such as overseas mission trips, library acquisitions, and so much more.

Why does my gift make a difference?
Gifts of any size make a difference. It is your participation that is important to us. Alumni giving participation plays a big role in determining school ranking and grants made to the university by outside sources. It is also one of the best measures of how graduates feel about their school and the education they received.

What are you calling on behalf of?
The NCU Fund for Excellence supports the University campus in its entirety, including all academic programs, student programs, athletics, the library, and much more.

What happens after I make a pledge through the calling program?
After confirming the dollar amount you wish to give, you can either take care of your gift over the phone with a credit card or request a pledge confirmation letter to be sent to you. If you opt for the letter, you will need to return the enclosed reply card with your payment.

When can I expect my call?
Calling occurs Sunday - Thursday in the late afternoon and evenings and occasionally on Saturday afternoon, and evenings.
