Self-Assessments

Self-assessments are valuable tools to assist you in identifying your interests, preferences, values, and skills. They do not prescribe a career path, but they can offer insight and additional information useful in your decision-making process.

The following assessments are available to students and alumni for $10. Please contact Career Services by email at careercenter@nwcu.edu or by phone at (541) 349-7473 to make an appointment with a career counselor and take the test.

Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI)

The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator assists you in understanding individual differences and applying that understanding to the ways people think, communicate, and interact. Your results may be applied to meeting today's challenges in such areas as communication, team building, leadership and career management. Individual consultation required.

Strong Interest Inventory

The Strong Interest Inventory assists you in matching your interests with opportunities for jobs, education, and leisure activities. Individual consultation required.
