Dr. Jim Larsen first began teaching for NCU in 1992. He served as an adjunct instructor in the Degree Completion Program. More recently as a part-time faculty member, Jim has been teaching online courses in our Professional Studies Program. His main offerings are Biblical Themes and Perspectives of the Old and New Testaments. His previous courses included Wisdom Literature, Advanced Interpersonal Communication, and Servant Leadership.

Dr. Larsen pastors the Christian Church of Ashland in Ashland, Oregon. He enjoys many outdoor sports, such as fly fishing, photography, gardening and canoeing. Jim is linked to two mission groups in Peru, and teaches in their pastor/leader institutes. His passion is teaching at NCU.
