Dr. Johnny Lake has taught at NCU since 2008. His primary teaching schedule includes teacher and preparation, focusing on teacher-student relationship and the impact and influence of diversity, race and culture on student academic performance and achievement. He also teaches counselor preparation classes related to diversity. Dr. Lake brings over 10 years of teaching expertise to the classroom.

Dr. Lake's dissertation is titled “Constructing Success for Black Students in Suburban High Schools”.
