Favorite Scripture/Quote:
Philippians Chapter 2
Favorite Music:
All that good rock n' roll from the 70's
Favorite Movie:
The classic: Dumb and Dumber
Why did you choose to attend NCU:
I wanted a small Christian school that had opportunities
to get involved and serve. I did not want to be another student ID
number at a big school.
What's the most surprising thing about NCU:
The faculty. They go out of their way to encourage
students and get involved in their lives. After transferring from a
big community college I never thought teachers or faculty would
actually want to get to know me.
What are you involved in on campus:
I have been on two missions trips, played bass in chapel,
worked as basketball team manager, given campus tours and worked as
an admissions assistant, I lead a small group, represented the
school at a summer camp and Creation fest, and currently I am on
the campus ministry team as the embracing the body coordinator, and
I'll be a fish group leader.
Favorite Professor:
Dr. Ron Heine
Favorite Class:
The Worshipping Community with Tim Miller or History of
Theology with Dr. Heine.
Favorite NCU Event:
May Missions!
Favorite Thing About Students and Faculty:
Intramural volleyball. Go High Fives!
Advice for Incoming Students:
Find ways to get involved. College is a time to try new
things: go volunteer, get a crazy job, talk to strangers, Pray bold
prayers.
Greatest Life Accomplishment so Far:
I wouldn't consider it an accomplishment, but one of my
favorite life moments was taking my guitar on a mission trip and
leading my team in worship at a small church in Santiago Chile.
