How did you arrive at Northwest Christian?
The opportunity to play basketball was a major deciding
factor for me.
What's the most surprising thing about being here at
Northwest Christian?
All of the staff actually care for the students. You come
to know the professors as more than just a teacher.
What is your favorite thing about the students, faculty,
and staff at Northwest Christian?
Everyone is open to each other. Rarely do I ever walk by
another member of the Northwest Christian community without a
friendly wave or hello.
Favorite Class?
Intro to Business (so far)
Favorite Northwest Christian Event/Tradition:
Fish Week (orientation for new students)
Advice for incoming students:
There is so much happening on campus, whether with small
groups, community outreach, or athletics and sporting events. Make
it a goal to at least be involved in one, if not all of these.
I like being a student here because of…
The way I am treated by the professors. The opportunity to
have a one on one conversation with a professor at others schools
is rare. At Northwest Christian, many of the professors have an
open door policy, meaning if I ever have a question, they are more
than happy to help.
Greatest accomplishment so far:
2nd place in the USCAA National Men's
Basketball Tournament
Where do you see yourself in five years?
Hopefully working in the fields of video production,
website design, or photography, and possibly running my own
business.
If a friend or relative was considering Northwest
Christian, and you had to describe the place in a text message with
only a few words, what would you honestly say?
Great Community
