Student Activities at Northwest Christian are diverse, meaningful, and memorable.  Alongside students, we work to create a fantastic campus culture.  The Student Activities team delivers quality programs that make students want to not just be at Northwest Christian but to be a significant part of Northwest Christian.

Welcome Back Carnival - Week of Welcome, September 2
Dodgeball Hall Competition - Week of Welcome, September 4 - Team up with your new neighbors to show off your skills.

Photo Scavenger Hunt/Karaoke - September 23

Spirit Week - September 26 to September 30 - Complete with unique dress up days, Spirit Week is for students to show off their Beacon Pride. This year featured a Spirit Shirt making night while snacking on Nachos and ending with Beacon Madness.

Beacon Madness! - September 29 - NCU's greatest pep rally displays the finesse and athleticism of our NCU athletes. Teams compete in the ultimate dance-off to be the winner (with bragging rights) of the annual event.

Family Weekend - September 30 to October 2 - Families are invited to take part in the daily schedule of their NCU student. This event features attending class, chapel, cheering on our Beacon Athletic teams, Family Banquet and so much more.

Sophomore Year Experience - October 12 at the Downtown Athletic Club, Eugene - Designed only for Sophomores to inform and engage them in their college journey.

Alcohol Awareness Week - October 24 to October 29 - This week features the harsh reality of Alcohol and its effects. Throughout the week we will be featuring speakers and activities involving this subject.

Under Classmen Retreat - November 4-5 on the Oregon Coast

Christmas Festival - November 29 - Stop by the Rug Room to stock up on your holiday cheer. Complete with Christmas Cookie Decorating, hot chocolate, and even Santa makes an appearance.

Late Night Breakfast - December 9 - Just in time for Final examinations, our Faculty & Staff join together to serve our students Breakfast, late night style!

Beacon Nights - Free Event every Friday Night of the semester!

Intramurals - Do you love sports but aren't interested in playing at the collegiate level? We've got the answer for you. Form a team of friends/roommates/faculty/staff to join in the fierce weekly competition. NCU intramurals hosts leagues for both Volleyball and Basketball (Fall & Spring Semesters respectively). Ultimate Frisbee makes an appearance throughout the year along with a trip to see a Portland Trailblazer's Game.
