Greg was named vice president for advancement in January, 2010. Prior to, Strausbaugh served in the role of consultant to the University’s advancement department beginning November 2008. He has oversight of alumni, church, community, and parent relations; the annual fund; planned giving; endowed scholarships; the Center for Leadership and Ethics; as well as University marketing and public relations. He has a long-standing relationship with NCU, having served as a member of the University’s Board of Trustees since 1992 where he held the office of Board Chair and Chair of the Advancement Committee.
Strausbaugh’s professional endeavors have mainly been in an entrepreneurial capacity. He and his wife have owned several businesses in various industries including insurance, commercial construction and automotive services, all located in the Eugene-Springfield area. They are current owners of A&M Auto Body in Eugene and TRAC Towing with two branches in Bend, OR, and Redmond, OR.
Greg is an active member of his church and community. He has served as a past member of the Board of Independent Insurance Agents of Oregon, Oregon Petroleum Marketers Association, Associated General Contractors of Oregon, Oregon Tow Truck Association, Lane Leaders, and served as past president of the Lane County Insurance Agents Association.
