As Vice President for Advancement, Keith Potter loves advancing the University’s mission through crucial relationships—with alumni, donors, churches and the neighboring community. As a pastor, author and speaker, Keith has invested his career into relational health strategies for churches, businesses and families. He was Lead Pastor of three California churches and held mentoring and applied learning positions at Simpson University and Fuller Seminary. He has been a frequent lecturer at the Baltic Pastoral Institute in Riga, Latvia, the Center for Congregational Leadership in Green Lake, Wisconsin and Mount Hermon Christian Conference Center near Santa Cruz, California. He is still available for preaching, consultation and keynote speaking.
The Center for Leadership and Ethics, under Keith’s direction, creates mentoring relationships between community leaders and NCU students and provides forums to address relevant topics of our day. The Center also presents Ethical Leader Awards to worthy individuals and businesses in the Eugene area.
Keith and Sue (Wright ’84) Potter have three children, one son-in-law and three grandchildren. They live in Eugene where they are avid basketball fans and casual runners.
