Dr. Ron Palmer arrived at NCU in 2006. His primary teaching schedule includes courses in history and global studies. He has directed study away programs in Argentina, Chile, China, Costa Rica, Mexico and Nicaragua.
Ron has authored numerous publications and writings including “A Brief History of Argentina,” “Transnationals, Technology and Development,” “Politics and Modernization in Bolivia,” “Development in the Caribbean Basin,” and “Being a Global Christian.”
He is the recipient of the Weter Faculty Award for Meritorious Scholarship and the Eli Lilly Foundation Research Fellowship. He is a member of the National History Honorary, Phi Alpha Theta.
