Long before I ever thought of working for NCU, I was a member of their community choir. Every year we put on a big Christmas concert for the community. I loved rehearsing sacred holiday music and the powerful sound we could achieve in our concerts with 80+ voices and an orchestra.

Giving students a clear picture of what it will take to achieve their objective so they can tackle it.

Manage student enrollment and on-boarding process for Adult Degree and Graduate programs.

Coordinate the Prior Learning Assessment program, helping students earn credit for college-level learning gained through life and work experiences.

FAVORITE NCU MEMORY:

Getting the opportunity to travel with NCU staff and students on mission trips to both San Francisco and Mexico. It’s an amazing experience getting to worship the Lord with people from different cultures.

TIPS FOR COLLEGE SUCCESS:

Simply finding the time for classes is one of the biggest barriers adult learners face. Having a clear time management plan is critical. Establish your own personal routine at the beginning of every semester to help you keep up with your coursework and protect your other commitments. It is also important that you establish a good, consistent workspace that is quiet and free from distraction.

Take the time to get to know your professors. They are extremely knowledgeable and can help you learn more than you ever imagined.

Getting to lead a team that works tirelessly to help students find “God’s Call” in their life.

Anywhere with my family, the Morse Event Center, coffee houses, and Autzen Stadium.

Be involved. College ought be an ‘active’ experience. Students who invest their time in the classroom, in co-curricular activities, in leadership opportunities, and in serving others graduate with a great sense of fulfillment.
