Fall Orientation offers many fun events unique to the fall semester. Below you will find information on what our Orientation is all about.
Family and Student Sessions
On the Saturday of Orientation parents and students are invited to participate in sessions throughout the afternoon that highlight the exciting elements of their new adventure at NCU. Student sessions include time with the Fish Groups, workshops, and group meetings. Parent sessions are hosted by Michael Fuller, NCU’s Vice President for Enrollment and Student Development. Our focus is how to support your students as they enter college.
For more information please visit the Orientation Schedule.
Twining of the Ivy
Every class begins their journey at NCU through the “Twining of the Ivy” ceremony. This is a way to celebrate the unity that students are encouraged to live in while at NCU.
You Got Served!
During a student’s time at NCU, they are given opportunities to serve their community both on campus and in Eugene. New students will be able to get a glimpse at what some of these opportunities will look like.
Experience adventure on the river! We will spend a day of Orientation on the water! Students will soak up the sun, splash through the waves, and experience God’s creation together. Get a glimpse at last year’s river adventure.
All this and more awaits during Orientation! For more information please contact the Director of Student Programs, Princess Fox.
NCU’s Spring Orientation is geared toward students in mid-year transition settle and find their place on campus. It is an opportunity to meet some staff, professors and other students, who will all play huge roles in your life as an active student at NCU. We are glad you have chosen to be a Beacon!
