RECRUITING TERRITORY:

Northern California, Hawaii/U.S. Territories, and International Students.

FAVORITE NCU MEMORY:

Leading a time of worship during our campus-wide “Night of Prayer”. It was such a blessing to be a part of such an uplifting event.

BEST PART OF MY JOB:

The best part of my job is who I get to work with. I get to be a part of an admissions staff that is truly passionate about Christian higher education and what NCU has to offer. We are able to connect with each of our students individually and help them make a seamless transition into our campus community.

TIPS FOR COLLEGE SUCCESS:

Don’t forget to sleep, always ask for help when you need it and remember that ‘education’ isn’t passive. To gain the full college experience be actively engaged in the classroom, on your campus and in your community.

FAVORITE BIBLE VERSE:

“Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you.” -Psalm 55:22

RECRUITING TERRITORY:

Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Central/Eastern Oregon, Midwest, and East Coast.

FAVORITE NCU FACT/MEMORY:

My favorite memories are the times I spent with my cross country teammates. We truly were a family, and still are to this day. Winning a national championship with those incredible women is something that I will never forget. We went into that race with the mindset that we were attempting something so huge it was doomed to fail if God wasn’t in it. Our victory truly glorified the Lord.

BEST PART OF MY JOB:

Easily the people I work alongside! Everybody is so passionate about helping students throughout their entire collegiate experience, and it is so nice to be working alongside like-minded individuals.

FAVORITE HANGOUT SPOT IN EUGENE:

Hendricks Park. There are so many trails you can run or walk if you are looking for hills, and the rhododendron garden is beautiful in the spring time. It’s a great place to pack a picnic and go hang out with a friend. It’s also where my husband asked me to be his wife!

TIPS FOR COLLEGE SUCCESS:

Work smarter not harder! Spending more time on studying does not necessarily equate to more success in the classroom. Find strategies that work for you to be efficient with your study time. That way, you will have more time to do the other things you enjoy doing and you will find more balance in your life!

FAVORITE BIBLE VERSE:

“My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” – John 15:12-13

FAVORITE HANGOUT SPOT IN EUGENE:

Yogurt Extreme is one of my favorite places to go. Whether I am catching up with friends, or on a date with my husband, it is a unique place that always keeps us entertained.

BEST PART OF MY JOB:

I truly enjoy the people that I get to work with on a daily basis. It is incredible to be surrounded by co-workers who enjoy what they do, and it makes the work environment extremely enjoyable.

TIPS FOR COLLEGE SUCCESS:

Don’t overload yourself. Sometimes it is necessary to take a break and grab a bite to eat with friends in order to keep your sanity. Even if you don’t feel like you can squeeze in a break, do it. Clearing your head is a necessary part of studying.

FAVORITE BIBLE VERSE:

“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.” -Josh 1:9

FAVORITE NCU FACT/MEMORY:

My favorite memories happened within my cohort in the Education program. We had so much fun studying together at the library, and coffee shops. I also loved my professors within the program, they cared about us, and connected with us not just as learners, but as individuals. We laughed and learned a lot together!

BEST PART OF MY JOB:

The people I get to work with! All of them find so much joy in what they do.

FAVORITE HANGOUT SPOT IN EUGENE:

The Glenwood. I spent most of college studying there, and drinking lots of coffee!
